The Shimano Tiagra 50WLRSA Long Range Special Lever Reel utilizes Shimano’s famed “L.R.S.” style drag curve. This style reel was originally designed for West Coast anglers who fish “Stand-Up” style from “Long Range” Charter Vessels. The Special-Cutting of the drag cam gives the 50 WLRSA a much wider usable range of drag pressures. Designed to fish heavier line right out of the box, these reels are perfectly suited to long range fishing.
The Shimano Tiagra 50WLRSA is just the right size for offshore trolling or fishing for medium to large sized pelagics. The Tiagra reels also features an innovative hydrothermal drag system that virtually eliminates the drag setting variances that affect today’s big game reels. GENII Hooker Electric Attachment
The Hooker Electric is lighter, more compact but also faster than the other electric. This means that an angler, can retrieve the bait from the bottom, setup and send that bait back to the bottom quicker. The Hooker Electric truly performs as nicely as it looks. The Hooker Electric module is constructed from 6061 aluminium rod. It has an RF remote with momentary button that operates the reel in full speed until you let off the button. The reel retains the handle for back-up or to fight a fish manually.
